Henkaus obtains medical CE marking for it’s contactless respimeter!
Henkaus Oy, a company focused on remote vital signs measuring solutions, received a CE certification and thus satisfies all the requirements of European Medical Device Directive to market the product in Europe.
The now obtained CE mark is one of the milestones the company has achieved as well as a remarkable step towards the company’s goal, easing the workload of Healthcare professionals and ensuring their safety.
In order for a product to be placed on the European market, they must meet the requirements of the relevant product directives. With the CE marking a medical device manufacturer claims that the product meets the relevant European Medical Device Regulations. Obtaining the medical CE marking is cumbersome, time consuming and an expensive endeavor for the companies, but at the same time it guarantees the safety and effectiveness of the devices on the European markets.
